Pipeline mode enables users to survey alternatively at 400kHz and 700kHz, in one pass and using only one multibeam echosounder. This provides granular high resolution information about the pipe itself, the pipe surface, as well as around the pipe to help anticipate and quantify potential risks.

This high resolution is paramount for safety, and thanks to its precision, is suited for identifying locations along the line that may be at higher risk and require closer surveillance for preventive maintenance. The process, which also captures the surrounding areas along the lines, is thorough, targeted, and reports exactly the data you need – all with one single MBES, in one single pass.
